About the RoleAs a Broker Support Officer, you are to field incoming phone calls (and manage a dedicated Inbox) from our Broker network regarding queries to home lending applications.
The Broker Support Team assists Brokers with queries of home lending applications post lodgement, right through to settlement, ensuring they are supported at all milestones.
In some instances, post settlement support is required regarding the general maintenance of settled home lending applications.
The position is phone-based, and works collaboratively with our Broker network whilst supporting the wider Broker Partnerships and Home Lending Services Teams i.e.
Business Development Managers, Business Development Consultants, State Managers and Home Lending Assessors.

What will your day look like?As a Broker Support Officer you will:
Provide advanced customer service skills, ensuring first call resolution is a priorityUtilize advanced communication skills (verbal & written) for communication via phone and emailTimely actioning and completion of tasks to meet advertised service level agreementsComplete regulatory and company compliance through computer-based training courses on timeEmbrace the Suncorp Bank Culture and demonstrate these behaviours consistentlyContribute to positive team engagementDrive a positive risk and governance cultureProactively identify and manage risk as a first line defence of the bankSupport Banking in projects and deliverablesWhat will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Higher School CertificateUnderstanding of the Australian Financial IndustryExperience in Contact Centre or Retail (customer facing) highly desirableBanking &/or Lending experience highly desirableDemonstrable experience with operational processes and systems (e.g.
CBP, Hogan, SunLink, ALLFI etc) highly desirable
