An exciting opportunity has become available to join Auswide Bank's Third-Party channel as our newest deskbound Broker Relationship Manager.
This existing role is Brisbane based.
Auswide Bank has been around for over 50 years and provides an extensive range of personal and business banking products and services issued directly or in partnership with leading services via branches, Mortgage Brokers, online and digital channels.

From a strong support base in Central and South-East Queensland, Auswide Bank has expanded nationally and now needs a highly motivated Broker Relationship Manager who has mortgage lending experience and expertise within the financial services 3rd party Broker channel.
This is a newly created deskbound role.
You will manage an assigned portfolio of Brokers and provide ongoing service and support, which results in achieving ongoing business.
The Broker Relationship Managers play a vital role in our 3rd party channel and require a good level of commercial awareness.
This role will contribute to growing our 3rd party portfolio sales results and build, develop and maintain excellent broker and aggregator relationships in a high touch environment.
Being a deskbound role, you will need to be able to manage a high volume of inbound calls from your allocated broker partners and implement a structured calling program to maximise opportunities to introduce new brokers to the benefits of Auswide Bank as a Broker partner.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in residential lending sales, preferably with a focus in 3rd party distribution channels, but direct channel lending experience will be considered.
A Cert IV in Finance and Broker Management is preferred, but not essential.
To succeed as a Broker Relationship Manager, you will need to: Be proven to be a self-starter, who is self-motivated, driven, highly organised and thrive in a fast-paced lending sales environment.Have sound understanding of credit assessment and lending principles.Have a strong understanding of NCCP and responsible lending practices and financial services legislation and regulations.Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.Be a quick learner with a high level of attention to detail.Enjoy working collaboratively with other colleagues in the team.Key Responsibilities of the Role: Influence outcomes and behaviour to drive specific sales, service, and growth targets in the residential lending portfolio of broker generated business in the assigned location.Ongoing active management, growth, and development of the assigned portfolio of mortgage brokers.Provide guidance, training, ongoing coaching, and support of mortgage brokers within your assigned portfolio on the Bank's credit policy, submission quality requirement, processes, and products.Manage broker scenarios, inflight application files and associated queries and general broker queries for the allocated broker portfolio.Assess opportunities within the portfolio in terms of the Bank's risk appetite and risk management parameters to identify and develop effective partnerships with brokers in the portfolio.The role also includes a laptop and mobile phone as well as performance-based bonuses and a salary commensurate.
