About Broken Hill Mines: The Rasp Mine is an operating silver-lead-zinc mine in Broken Hill, with a large Mineral Resource and a 750,000tpa processing plant.
The mine has operated for over 120 years, producing zinc and lead concentrates sold globally.
The Pinnacles Mine , situated 15km southwest of Broken Hill, is known for containing one of the area's highest-grade and shallowest silver-lead-zinc deposits.
Despite being largely undeveloped, small-scale historical mining has occurred over the past 120 years.
Broken Hill Mines has recently acquired the Rasp Mine and secured a Joint Venture option for the Pinnacles Mine to consolidate the two operations and create a leading and long-term base metals operation.
