Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer MANDATORY - To apply for this position you must have a minimum NV1 clearance.
Location: ACT Contract: 12 months plus 12 months Job Type: Full-Time For our client in Federal Government we are seeking a skilled Broadcom DCS Operations Specialist to join our team and contribute to the seamless operation and enhancement of our Broadcom DCS systems.
Job Responsibilities: Perform Business As Usual (BAU) operations, maintenance, and management of Broadcom DCS.
Plan, schedule, and implement periodic patches, bug fixes, and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
Document technical knowledge in the knowledge database, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and update detailed design and as-built documentation.
Manage server migration from DCS to App Locker, ensuring minimal disruption and seamless transition.
Mandatory Criteria: Minimum of 3+ years' experience in the daily operations and management of Broadcom DCS, covering identity, application security, and control.
Proven ability to isolate and resolve the root cause of technical support issues.
Experience in implementing daily health checks and configuring/managing reporting and knowledge transfer to other support staff.
Proficiency in Microsoft App Locker and Power Shell.
Weighted Criteria: Strong technical understanding of Broadcom DCS, including configuration and optimization.
Deep knowledge of the Essential Eight Application Control mitigation strategy, Information Security Manual (ISM) controls, and their implementation within Broadcom DCS.
Experience in planning, scheduling, and executing periodic patches, bug fixes, and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
Demonstrated experience in upgrading Broadcom DCS from version 6.7.x to 6.9.x.
