Broadacre Business Development Manager (Northern NSW and Qld) – Full Time With our primary focus on the development of intellectual property and resultant sale, licensing, distribution, and marketing of high-quality products into the agricultural sector, the Australian subsidiary (1 of 22 globally) of a privately owned centennial group founded in 1919, is looking for an experienced business development professional to lead and own the commercial function for our Broadacre portfolio throughout the region.
About the role: Reporting to the National Sales and Marketing Manager, the role is responsible for the development and execution of growth strategies for our Broadacre product portfolio within their region of responsibility of Northern NSW and Queensland through detailed evaluation of the market, customer requirements, and competitors.
The Broadacre Business Development Manager will engage with, develop, and expand relationships with commercial stakeholders and end users to identify new markets, products, and business opportunities, including post-farm gate activities.
About you: To be successful in this role, you'll be committed to providing relationship management and commercial positioning of our portfolio with our broadacre seed partners and commercial channel partners, requiring representation at industry field days, crop walks, seminars, and other networking events. You will have:
5 years + experience in a Key Account, Portfolio, or Business DevelopmentResults-focused and demonstrated business acumen.Demonstrated industry knowledge and experience.Outstanding relationship management skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proven problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to the audience.A proven ability to meet deadlines, even when working under pressure.Drivers License.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.The successful candidate will be located within the region or ready to relocate and will be required to travel throughout the region and to other regions and locations to fulfill the function of the role.
