What you'll do: As an R&D Tax Graduate at RSM, you will have the opportunity to develop fundamental tax knowledge and skills, analyse financial statements/data and technical reports, prepare R&D tax submissions, write taxation advice, and much more!
What does the Research & Development division do? The R&D Tax team is rapidly growing, utilising a wide range of disciplines and skills (science, engineering, accounting, law);High proportion of client-facing time and interaction;Preparation of advice to clients on government incentives for technology innovations;Preparation of applications for government grants;Preparation of R&D Registrations that identify and detail the scope of R&D projects and R&D activities;Understand and apply R&D tax legislation and other areas of the Income Tax Act and other relevant legislation;Analysis of financial reports and underlying data to prepare R&D expenditure calculations;Undertake various administrative tasks such as file preparation, risk assessments, billing, and communication.Who you are: You are an ideal candidate for this role if: You are currently studying toward or have completed a bachelor's degree in Science/IT/ICT or Tax/Law/Business Law/Accounting;Integrity is one of your core values, and you hold yourself and those you work with to a high standard of professionalism and mutual respect;You can effectively manage tasks and time, and prioritise workflow according to team and client requirements;You are able to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues;You are a self-starter and a team player, and you can bring your unique skills and ideas to the table;You possess a can-do attitude and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.Advertised: 13 Nov 2024 E.
