A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join our team. Your role will be both Perth based and site based with exposure to multiple projects across WA.
To be successful in this role: Bachelor of Engineering (mechanical preferred)Experience in the mining industry and its supporting industries is desirableExperience working on mine site in Western AustraliaAbility to work outside of the metro area – Site travelStrong technical knowledge and understanding of Engineering principlesStrong awareness of safety and environmental requirementsAble to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationshipsSelf-managing while working well in a team environmentProven problem-solving ability and can 'think outside the box'Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines You will be responsible for: Identify and understand the scope of works and provide support to the supervisory team in understanding the scope of work.Assist with the preparation of schedule to ensure the workflow meets the objectives of the project.Monitor progress ensuring that work quality and techniques meet or exceed requirements.Understand and comply with company and project policies, processes and guidelines.Compile and create QA/QC documentationEnsure compliance with HSECQ requirementsTake personal accountability for own safety and comply with safety culture.Actively promote environmental management initiatives.Act as a trouble shooter and ensure any potential problems are alerted to the appropriate senior team member.Build strong relationships and networks with clients, project teams, design teams and subcontractors.Assist with investigating and reporting on incidents and participate in all high-level investigations, as required.
