Salary: $153,000 + 11.5% superannuation, fleet vehicle
Relocation Assistance: $6,000
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Manager to lead our Aboriginal Partnerships team.
You will work closely with Aboriginal organisations and communities, particularly in the Northern Territory, to provide services across support, advice, and recruitment services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners to assist them in areas where they need support.

Team Leadership: Oversee a team of six, including service support officers, admin staff, and project officers.
Provide leadership and development opportunities for the team.
Community Outreach: Occasionally engage in community outreach activities, with a focus on supporting Aboriginal corporations and communities.
Financial Management: Ensure the financial sustainability of the programs by managing budgets, sourcing new partnerships, and developing existing ones.
Charge for recruitment services provided to partner organisations.
Stakeholder Management: Manage projects from end to end, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and project delivery.
Cultural Competence: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and work in a culturally safe manner.
Ideal Candidate:
Indigenous Background: Ideally, we are looking for an Indigenous person with experience in leadership and community engagement.
Leadership Experience: Extensive leadership experience, particularly in managing teams and developing staff.
Educational Background: A degree in human services, project management, business management, or a related field is preferred.
Financial Acumen: Strong financial management skills and a strategic mindset.
Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience in stakeholder management and project delivery.
Cultural Understanding: A deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and the ability to build rapport and relationships within the community.
Additional Skills: Experience in human and community services, and familiarity with NT Government operations is a bonus.
