Finance Business Partner- Retail (Australia)Bridgestone Australia Ltd. is seeking a proactive and self-motivated Finance Business Partner to partner with our Retail Operations team, which includes company owned stores and our franchise network.
Reporting to the National Finance Manager- Sales (Australia), this role is pivotal in developing and providing financial reporting and analysis to identify business insights and assist decision-making processes.
The ideal candidate will have strong initiative, the ability to think on their feet, and be flexible to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Role Responsibilities include :Advise on the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of financial reporting and budget management.Prepare forecasts and financial estimates, and work with stakeholders to analyze and develop commentary on performance.Provide financial modeling and analysis, conduct ad-hoc analysis for initiatives, develop scenario-based financial options for strategies, and assess the financial impact of capital investment strategies.Offer financial advice for business cases and deliver actionable business insights.Provide management reports and performance analysis, identify variances, and suggest corrective actions.Monitor and analyze performance against targets, ensure accuracy in financial results, and report on monthly financial performance.Maintain a high degree of stakeholder interaction and provide financial guidance across operational, product, and financial management information.Reinforce a culture of financial performance accountability, implement and monitor savings initiatives and performance KPIs, and ensure compliance with financial processes.Comply with HSE policies and procedures, report incidents and hazards, promote safe behavior, and support sustainability.About youAccounting or finance qualification (CA, CPA, or CIMA) is preferable.Experience in business analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and profitability models.A detailed understanding of commercial business drivers and data analytics.A curious mindset, interested in understanding business drivers, challenging and influencing strategic direction.Ability to present financial information clearly to various management levels.Proficiency in Excel, strong administrative skills, and accurate data entry.Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred) and financial analysis and modeling tools is highly desirable.Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.Strong work ethic, initiative, self-motivation, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.Excellent time management, with experience working to month-end deadlines.About usA renowned global leader in tyres and rubber, Bridgestone is striving towards a vision to provide both social value and customer value as a sustainable solutions company.With sustainability at the core of our business and guided by the values of our Bridgestone E8 Commitment, Bridgestone offers a diverse product portfolio of premium tyres and advanced solutions backed by innovative technologies, improving the way people around the world move, live, work, and play.In Australia, Bridgestone offers a range of services and solutions to all segments of the Australian market.
