Finance Business Partner- Retail (Australia) Bridgestone Australia Ltd. is seeking a proactive and self-motivated Finance Business Partner to partner with our Retail Operations team, which includes company owned stores and our franchise network. Reporting to the National Finance Manager- Sales (Australia), this role is pivotal in developing and providing financial reporting and analysis to identify business insights and assist decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have strong initiative, the ability to think on their feet, and be flexible to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Role Responsibilities include: Advise on the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of financial reporting and budget management. Prepare forecasts and financial estimates, and work with stakeholders to analyze and develop commentary on performance. Provide financial modeling and analysis, conduct ad-hoc analysis for initiatives, develop scenario-based financial options for strategies, and assess the financial impact of capital investment strategies. Offer financial advice for business cases and deliver actionable business insights. Provide management reports and performance analysis, identify variances, and suggest corrective actions. Monitor and analyze performance against targets, ensure accuracy in financial results, and report on monthly financial performance. Maintain a high degree of stakeholder interaction and provide financial guidance across operational, product, and financial management information. Reinforce a culture of financial performance accountability, implement and monitor savings initiatives and performance KPIs, and ensure compliance with financial processes. Comply with HSE policies and procedures, report incidents and hazards, promote safe behavior, and support sustainability. About you Accounting or finance qualification (CA, CPA, or CIMA) is preferable. Experience in business analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and profitability models. A detailed understanding of commercial business drivers and data analytics. A curious mindset, interested in understanding business drivers, challenging and influencing strategic direction. Ability to present financial information clearly to various management levels. Proficiency in Excel, strong administrative skills, and accurate data entry. Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred) and financial analysis and modeling tools is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships. Strong work ethic, initiative, self-motivation, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment. Excellent time management, with experience working to month-end deadlines.
