We are currently recruiting for dynamic and motivated UNI or TAFE students, casual teachers, educators or Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) leaders who are passionate about their work to join our team!
You will be delivering programs and coordinating a small team whilst providing high quality educational workshops and programs for children aged between 5 and 12 years at various locations across the Northern Suburbs, Melbourne.
This role is a casual position leading our school holiday programs.
We also offer ongoing casual work during the school term in our school incursion, after school programs and weekend programs.
This exciting role is responsible for:
Creating safe, supportive, stimulating and educational environments for children participating in our programs Delivering workshops to agreed content and standards Building and maintaining strong relationships with team members, parents, children and the wider community Actively encourage and facilitate a healthy team environment Ensuring that team implement all relevant policies and procedures to enhance the effective and efficient management of workshops and programs Supporting the development of programs and materials About you:
Enjoy working with children ages 5-12 with knowledge and understanding of the needs of children in this age group and the ability to positively guide Be passionate about kids and education about STEM concepts Be positive, nurturing, outgoing, dependable and mature Have excellent work ethic Be experienced leading small teams Have strong organisation and time management skills Have a Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain) Have a current First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate (or willing to obtain) Have reliable transportation Ideally you would have experience teaching primary school aged children in either a school or Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) care provider or alternatively be progressing towards a child related qualification such as Early Childhood Education, Primary / Secondary Education or Education Support, however this is not essential.
