A1 Level Constructions is now looking for a Bricklayer to join their team.
The right candidate will be responsible for: Measure and cut bricks to size using hammers or chisels; Construct walls, partitions, arches, and other structures by laying bricks, blocks, or similar materials; Prepare mortar by hand or using a mechanical mixer; Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and materials required; Build or repair walls, foundations, chimneys, fireplaces, and other structures; Inspect completed work to ensure it meets industry standards and client specifications; Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment; Prepare construction sites by erecting scaffolding, hoisting materials, and setting up work platforms; Ensure materials are stored properly to prevent damage and loss; Communicate effectively with team members to resolve any issues or challenges that arise; About you: At least 2 years of experience as a Bricklayer; Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications; Proficiency with tools and in bricklaying techniques and methods; Excellent teamwork and communication skills Good physical condition and stamina; Job type: Permanent/full-time Salary: $73,000 - $83,000
