About the Role: As a Bricklayer, you will report to the Site Supervisor.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified candidate to join our team on a full-time basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Interpret architectural drawings and blueprints to plan material needs and work procedures · Arrange and secure bricks, stones, and other materials to build different structures.
· Create detailed brick patterns and make sure mortar is applied properly.
· Place blocks accurately and clean off any extra bonding material.
· Use tools to make sure walls and structures are level and straight.
· Adjust brickwork to fit odd spaces or special design features.
· Repair and maintain existing brickwork and related structures.
· Clean up the site after work is done and organise tools and materials.
· Keep the work area clean and safe.
· Follow all workplace safety rules and guidelines.
HEALTH AND SAFETY: · Comply with all requirements of the Work Health and Safety Legislation · Support a positive health and safety culture on-site · Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times · Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: · Certificate III in Bricklaying or equivalent qualification · Minimum 2 years' full-time experience in a similar role · Proven knowledge of building codes and safety regulations · Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship · Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions · Good communication and teamwork skills · Ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials · Current White Card (General Construction Induction Card) Job Type: Permanent Full-time Work Location: Various job sites within the region To Apply: Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and qualifications
