Your Impact As a Brewing Team Leader within our Abbotsford facility, you will be responsible for leading the team of brewing operators to achieve performance targets, including providing leadership, planning and allocation of tasks to ensure adequate coverage and output.
You will work closely with operators across all brewing areas, and support in assessing quality issues, in addition to responding to any breakdowns.
Please Note - The Brewing department operates a 24/5 roster and as such this role requires the availability to work a rotating roster with your team; 8-hour night, afternoon & day shifts.
During Peak season weekend coverage may also be required.
Key Responsibilities Monitor and control production processEnsure that process changes are implemented as per instruction from the Technical BrewersManagement of team shift handover and representation of all shifts at the daily production team meetingsEnsure correct and timely entry of process data into the appropriate systemsComplete accurate and timely shift admin and reportsMonitor and control the process and perform the required actions needed to correct out of control processesShare information/instructions at meetings to focus on shift performance gap closureFacilitate effective teamwork through role allocation, tracking and conflict resolutionAbout You Similar experience leading operations teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment – Brewing, Dairy, or PharmaceuticalsStrong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to assess and respond to technical issues relating to qualityExperience leading operators, in addition to trades and contractorsAbility to build strong working relationships and influence change with stakeholders at all levelsAbility to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunitiesDegree qualification in Science, Engineering or another related discipline would be highly advantageousA passion for brewing, and currently undertaking or completed IBD would be highly advantageousWe are a Circle Back Initiative employer and commit to responding to all applicants.
