Brewarrina Christian School is a new school which commenced operation in January 2023 and will operate Kindergarten to Year 10 in February 2025, growing through to Year 12.
The school is a member of the Melos Group (www.melos.education) which operates 6 schools across NSW.
We are looking for an experienced Secondary Teacher with the following skills:

Committed Christian of evangelical persuasion actively involved in the life of their local church;
NESA registration to teach in NSW;
A high standard of competency, proficiency and innovation as a classroom teacher;
The ability to integrate ICT into the curriculum;
A capacity to cater for a wide range of different learning needs and teach across multi-stages;
Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with staff in the school and with parents/carers;
Strong administrative skills, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability;
NSW Working With Children Check clearance for paid employment;
Well-developed time management and problem-solving skills;
Experience and interest in working in a diverse education environment with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children a distinct advantage.

Applicants will need to be committed, practising, evangelical Christians with exemplary skills; be prepared to work under the ethos of the School; have expertise; and an organised disposition and be capable of teaching multi-stage Maths and Science classes. The ability and willingness to also teach some TAS, Music or PDHPE is an advantage.
Teaching staff who are non-local residents relocating to Brewarrina will be provided with housing on site with only a minimal charge to cover utilities.
