About the role The Product Development Coordinator within the ANZ Local Distribution Team plays a key role in the development and successful market launch of small domestic appliance products for the ANZ region. As the product champion, you will oversee and manage the delivery of specific product development milestones, ensuring timely execution, while also monitoring the product's performance post-launch. A critical aspect of the role is the ability to effectively communicate the product's benefits across multiple platforms, ensuring it meets or exceeds customer expectations and consistently represents the brand in the best possible light.
In addition to creating compelling product content for various platforms (such as instruction manuals, POS materials, packaging, and marketing collateral), you will take a proactive approach to meet development timelines through problem solving and effective external and internal stakeholder management.
This is a fixed term contract position based in Alexandria, Sydney and is due to commence mid January 2025.
Key attributes for this role include: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and especially high level of written. Proven ability to deliver results working in cross-functional teams to influence others to deliver enhanced understanding of product performance and competitive positioning. Strong analytical and interpretative skills – able to see the bigger picture. Ability to be a good team player, yet also work independently. Strong creativity and demonstration of initiative. We're Interested in Hearing from People Who Have: 2+ years experience as a Brand or Product Manager, preferably in consumer goods related industries, with hands-on development experience highly regarded. Relevant Marketing or similar tertiary qualifications is desirable but not essential. An enthusiastic appreciation for small appliances, and a desire to bring them to market.
