About the RoleHave you got what it takes to present a dynamic flow radio program for the ABC?We're looking for an accomplished presenter for weekday Breakfast in Lismore, NSW.You'll bring our local audience issues that matter as well as stories that make us smile, with a mix of music, weather, sport, events and any relevant breaking news.As Breakfast presenter you will: Present Breakfast from our Lismore studio.Create content across a number of platforms and programs from radio production to digital media for local, state and nationalaudiences.Identify and deliver local regional stories to both the ABC North Coast and the national audience.Accomplished editorial skills and sound judgementAbility to conduct accountability interviews and think under pressureWork across radio, online and social media.Develop contacts and break stories.About YouThis is a great opportunity to showcase your presenting skills.You will be working as part of the highly successful ABC Regional and Local team in a collaborative way under the direction of the Chief of Staff.You will need a strong local knowledge of the NSW Northern Rivers region, community connections and contacts.You'll be expected to work independently and at times, as part of our dynamic team of content makers and reporters.Does this describe you?You are a highly motivated content maker.You love radio.You can work independently and or within a team.You have strong editorial skills.You're savvy with social media and online content and know how to engage a diverse demographic of listeners.You're passionate about local current affairs, social issues, technology and culture.You're agile, and have a good knowledge of the Northern Rivers, as well as national and international issues.You have a track record of presenting high quality contemporary radio.
