Job Spec:
This agency exists to futureproof, transform, and grow businesses for the better. They connect the dots between brands, consumers, and their purpose.
Award-winning and independently owned, they offer the boutique agency feel of a small team in Melbourne, operating under the name of a global agency - it's the best of both.
They partner with social, commercial, and government clients, from Fortune 500 organisations to emerging start-ups across entertainment, arts, financial services, retail, technology, and education across brand architecture, brand identity, brand strategy, Innovation, and service design. This is highly strategic (and fun) work grounded in curiosity, answering problems such as: How can we reimagine the formula for fun? What type of brand does an unconventional call home? How can we transform the way mental health care is delivered in Australia?
B-Corp accredited, they are committed to balancing profit with purpose and making the world a better place. This is reflected in their supportive and nurturing working environment and their commitment to employees' wellness and career progression. They offer 25+ days of annual leave, fast-tracked progression, training allowances, hybrid working, and social events.
The role: Brand Strategist / Strategist
This is a rare opportunity for a strategist in the foundational years of their career who wants to accelerate their skills by working directly with the Head of Strategy & Insights. We're looking for thinkers who are equal parts intellectually rigorous and creatively curious, with an instinct for understanding the why and a penchant for common sense, combining left and right-brain thinking.
With a flat organisational hierarchy, you'll be involved with all elements of the strategy process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget, and brief. Your key responsibilities will include:
Building strong client relationships by understanding their problems, goals, and needs. Co-leading qualitative and quantitative research and analysis through workshops, interviews, and data analysis. Transforming observations into original and compelling insights. Conducting desk research to identify emerging consumer and brand futures. Weaving together data into brand-led insights. Presenting insights to clients in a clear, tangible, and compelling manner. Requirements:
Prior agency experience in strategy, research, insights, or a role exposing the candidate to brand strategy, branding, or design. Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods. Drive to enhance skills in brand strategy. Infinite curiosity, excellent communication skills, and a passion for solving brand-led problems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
