The Opportunity As our Brand, Acquisition and Digital Marketing Manager, based in our Brisbane head office, you'll lead a team of 13 and deliver the strategy and execution of our marketing programs, across Shine's group of law firms. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Client Service, and supported by four leads, and appointed agencies, you'll drive new client acquisition, foster brand advocacy and enhance our service delivery through digital transformation.
You will develop consumer and B2B marketing strategies for each business unit, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and incorporating an integrated approach that spans all channels, and is supportive of each stage in the marketing and client lifecycle.
You'll then lead the effective execution of these programs, including delivering on all advertising initiatives, being responsible for websites and apps (SEO, UX, content and technical functionality), executing our direct 121 automated email strategies, developing and strengthening affiliate partnerships, and drive our legal teams' business development and community engagement initiatives.
This role is a brand guardian for our law firms, where you'll ensure our brand positioning and identity is upheld, weaving the brand essence into each program, and maximising opportunities for awareness and consideration.
You will leverage your strategic and operational leadership skills to build a high-performance team culture that is continuously improving, and responsive to opportunities and challenges. You will have seasoned financial and commercial acumen to cost programs, model acquisition targets, manage expenses and negotiate commercial agreements.
You'll have led programs that require engagement with large and diverse stakeholder groups ranging from c-suites to client facing roles. You understand how to adjust your engagement approach to achieve buy in, progress programs and deliver to business objectives.
What you'll bring. To thrive in this role, you'll have:
Significant experience in consumer and B2B marketingExperience leading marketing programs in service-based businessesDemonstrable experience in developing strategies and executing programs that drive business outcomesStrong people management skills, particularly of large diverse marketing teams, including managing technical digital marketing professionalsExperience driving teams to achieve set performance targets, including leading tactics to resolve deficits and performance blockersDemonstrable experience driving holistic marketing programs across multiple channels and customer lifecycle stagesEase with managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, at both operational and strategic levelsSignificant experience managing large advertising programs across media and creative, both in-house and outsourced to agenciesSignificant experience in leading tenders and proactive pitches for new strategic partnershipsExperience leveraging marketing automation tools to support prospecting and new client acquisitionStrong commercial, and financial acumenImpeccable communication, stakeholder and project management skills, with a knack for interrogating data and forming actionable insightsThe ability to coach and mentor legal stakeholders in best practice business development that is business aligned and drives return on investmentPractical problem-solving skills, initiates change when required and is business outcome focused.Please note, due to the festive season, applications to this role will be reviewed from w/c Monday 13th January.
