Branch Manager - Retail - Based in Papua New GuineaManagement - Area/Multi-site (Retail & Consumer Products)Full timeExpatriate package offered plus housing, vehicle, flight and medicalOur client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead and manage all aspects of branch operations, including sales, inventory, and team development.The Branch Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring the branch meets financial targets and provides exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for fostering strong customer relationships, managing stock, and maintaining an organised and safe environment for staff and customers alike.Key Responsibilities:Oversee branch sales, security, and administrative functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, providing top-tier service and technical advice on products.Meet financial objectives by achieving sales targets, managing operating expenses, and ensuring profitability.Work closely with the warehouse team to maintain inventory levels, manage stock control, and oversee merchandise presentation and promotional activities.Drive sales through active pipeline management, providing quotations, and negotiating large tenders or project contracts.Coach and develop the branch team, focusing on succession planning, training, and performance management.Foster a zero-harm culture, ensuring the branch complies with Occupational Health & Safety policies and reporting any hazards.Manage branch administration and interpret company policies for team members.Conduct weekly team meetings and monthly reporting to the General Manager.Attend company events and seminars to enhance brand presence and performance.Ideal Candidate Profile:Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field.4–10 years in a retail management role or similar, with proven experience in managing branch operations.Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Pronto Xi is a plus.Self-motivated with a mature attitude, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and integrity.Benefits:Competitive salary packageOpportunity for career growth and professional developmentWork within a supportive and dynamic team environmentIf you are passionate about retail management and possess the skills to lead a team to success, we would love to hear from you!
