About the role
We are looking for a Branch Manager to join the Darwin Real Estate team on a permanent, full time basis.
As an Elders Branch Manager, you will be entrusted to manage all aspects of branch operations and lead your team to achieve growth and exceed earning targets in our Real Estate business. This is a leadership role where you will effectively engage, inspire and empower the Darwin branch team to drive customer-focussed results.

Responsibilities
As a branch leader you will enjoy a day including:

Cultivating the working environment to support new sales opportunities to strengthen Elders presence in the Darwin market for Residential and Rural Lifestyle properties as well as oversee a large property management business and team.
Work in collaboration with the Elders Area Manager and State Managers in Real Estate along with other Real Estate Branch managers to contribute to the delivery of wider business objectives.
Providing technical and operational support to the senior property manager to enhance and grow the existing Property Management business within the market. The objective being to be recognised as a business of choice for landlords, tenants and staff.
Driving the marketing and promotion of Elders services and products to support our clients including insurance and finance referrals.
Effective management (taking ownership) of the business targets and branch profit and loss inline with the agreed strategy for the branch.
Prioritising the safety of your staff and clients, and actively contributing to Elders' zero-harm culture.
Coaching and mentoring staff in identifying and developing new sales opportunities Inspiring and motivating your team to maximise their potential.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key clients providing solutions to meet client requirements.

About you:
To excel at Elders, you:

Have a proven track record in growing and managing a large sales team with a strong understanding of Real Estate services, including holding applicable real estate licences including auctioneer or willing to obtain.
Have experience in managing a larger property management team and working with senior property managers to successfully grow that enterprise through provision of high quality property management services.
Can effectively lead, engage and motivate teams to produce exemplary customer experiences and key business outcomes inline with the agreed business plan.
Are resourceful, forward thinking and passionate about effecting real change for both your clients and your community.
A leader who understands our people are our most important asset and operates from a values based approach in business.
Have an ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with clients.
The ability to source and review sales and property management data to help provide insight into the market for discussion with staff to support sales and growth objectives.
Although a tertiary qualification is not essential, sound financial knowledge and strong business acumen is required to manage the P&L and ensure effective operational controls are being maintained in the business.
