The Branch Manager Psychosocial Disability & Specialised Pathways is a new position in the Service Design and Improvement Group, reporting to the General Manager of the Policy, Evidence and Practice Leadership Division.

This is a rare opportunity to establish a branch, build a high-performance team, and develop important organizational capability.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
Lead on the development of an early investment framework for the agency that will provide agency-wide integrity of responses.Lead the development of policy and practice on operational matters that relate to Psychosocial Disability and other specific cohorts requiring a specialised pathway.Work closely with Service Delivery to formulate and maintain policies and plans relating to participant cohorts and populations.Interpret and translate key Government and intergovernmental agreements into NDIA policy.Provide thought leadership, content expertise, and rigorous policy analysis to improve the effectiveness of the NDIS.Develop strong partnerships working with the Commonwealth on whole of Government priorities.Lead and engage with a diverse set of external stakeholders using multiple approaches, including co-design.The Branch Manager provides an important leadership role within the NDIA.
The ideal candidate will deliver operational excellence with a focus on people and a commitment to addressing emerging challenges and risks.

As a member of the SES team within the NDIA, you will take responsibility for performance outcomes for a specific program and bring energy and commitment to driving social change.
