WesTrac Mudgee is seeking an engaging and safety focussed leader to join the team in the position of Branch Manager.
As a Branch Manager for WesTrac you will drive the operational performance of the Branch and lead the team to provide outstanding solutions for a diverse customer base. Your team will consist of administration and support staff, Supervisors with dotted lines to the workshop based trades, site based trades, store people and a field service crew.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will have overall accountability for the financial performance of the Branch including the onsite operations at Wilpinjong Coal Mine and champion continuous improvement as well as strengthening customer relationships.

Key Accountabilities: Lead and motivate your team, supporting their ongoing development Oversee branch operations P&L control and monitoring of monthly sales and service targets Develop branch strategy to meet organisational goals Ensure safety and quality standards are upheld by fostering a safe, engaged and customer focused culture Utilise data to forecast, measure and improve overall branch performance Maintain customer relationships through exceptional stakeholder engagement and regular customer visits Oversee invoicing, Work in Progress (WIP) and warranty claims Ensure productivity and utilisation of the team through proactive scheduling and training to avoid lost time Collaborate with internal stakeholders and work to ensure customer coverage across the state through sharing of resources About You Approachable and a team player Dedicated to ensuring the safety of yourself and others Demonstrated commercial acumen / experience in managing budgets and/or cost centres Familiarity with Caterpillar (or similar) equipment and exposure to mining Professional with outstanding communication skills Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to successfully manage customer relationships Short and long term maintenance and workshop planning experience (desireable) Ability to coach others for high performance and manage teams in changing environments Tertiary qualifications in business and/ or mechanical trade background will be looked upon favourably Experience in an operational role with proven ability to boost performance What's on offer Attractive salary package + incentive scheme Fully maintained vehicle Discounts on CAT tooling and merchandise Access to leadership development training Fitness Passport for the whole family Income protection with 24/7 coverage Annual remuneration review 12 weeks paid parental leave Online Learning Library to support your continued development Ability to purchase additional annual leave Discounts from a range of corporate partners Apply Now If you believe you have the skills and experience to succeed in this role, please submit your cover letter and resume for consideration via the link.
