Branch Manager - Mackay

Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time As the Branch Manager , you will be responsible for managing and developing the Mackay branch to be safe, profitable, and lead the way in setting ethical standards for the operational requirements of the business.
You will be a key contributor in ensuring regional, state, and national business and strategy plans while effectively implementing and communicating to all key staff.
You'll help maintain and develop a strong management team, which includes continuity through succession planning.
Adhering to targets in all key facets of the business such as OH&S, operational excellence, and profitability.
Deliver the required service level across the road and air freight business while encompassing the "Perfect Transaction" experience to our valued customers.
Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Maximising productivity levels by setting strong targets and consistent measurement Maintaining and improving service excellence Achieve or exceed budget expectations through strong direction and support Provide leadership aligned to our vision, mission, values, national standards, and our strategic business plan Foster a spirit of teamwork and co-operation among employees Apply sound industrial relations techniques to ensure a harmonious workplace Ensure compliance with all legislation including industrial matters, occupational health and safety, dangerous goods, trade practices, environmental protection, etc.
