JAS is a part of the automotive aftermarket industry and specifically focuses on servicing the Auto Electrical sector.
JAS Branches typically have a Branch Manager, Phone / Counter Salesperson, Customer Account Manager and Store person/delivery driver.
Position Purpose: The purpose of the JAS Branch Manager is to represent JAS to our unique customer base.
In order to achieve success, the Branch Manager's key responsibility is to build, maintain and grow customer relationships to best support the customer and selling of JAS products.
Key Accountabilities: Develop and maintain a regular customer call plan.
Ensure all customers in allocated territory are seen on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly cycle.
Prepare monthly sales reports on customer spend utilising Phocas reporting.
Daily usage and maintenance of the customer CRM program.
Health and Safety: Role model a culture of zero harm through effective risk management and consultation with your team regarding all health and safety matters.
Ensure your safety and the safety of those around you by complying with all safe work practices, policies, procedures and instructions.
Maintain safe working practices that contribute to an accident and injury free working environment.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment attending monthly toolbox and safety meetings.
Provide Monthly Account Manager Performance and Safety Reports.
Maintain the Company Vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition.
Remain vigilant in identifying unsafe or environmentally unsound practices and taking action to rectify.
Take responsibility for personal safety and safety of others by following safe work practices and ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and knowledge of procedures and safety education is current.
Report to work fit for duty, and not affected by alcohol, drugs, medication or other harmful substances.
Participate in safety programs and improvements.
Report injuries, safety incidents and hazards immediately.
Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
Revenue and Budget: Ensure Branch Manager targets are met or exceeded along with gross margin/profit.
Highlight promotional material, specials etc.
to customers.
Monitor and manage Inventory for optimum line fill and stock turns in company vehicle.
Sales, Service & Warehouse: Create, foster and maintain excellent customer relationships.
Maintain a safe work environment for all branch team members.
Ensure customer orders are completed correctly & promptly including credits and warranties.
Keep all customers up to date with current specials, promos and product releases.
Keep up to date with industry Technology and trends.
Utilize all technology and facilities to best advantage branch profitability.
