Management (Community Services & Development)Ability Plus Disability Services specialises in the provision of client-centred in home care and community based services throughout Victoria.Our team is growing, and we are currently looking for an experienced Branch Manager with profound understanding of disability services and the home care sector in Australia to join our team at Ability Plus Disability Services.Reporting into the General Manager Ability Plus and based in our Keilor Park office, this is a key Operational Leadership role, accountable for ensuring the delivery of business objectives, strategy and maintaining high quality support services.The RoleContribute to the development of the annual budget and 3-year strategic plan for Ability Plus and develop and implement the North strategy and business plan that effectively coordinates operations behind each key area.Develop north regional customer engagement plan in line with the national strategy, including engagement plan for new, existing and key clients.Leading and driving branch sales and account management planning and execution in line with strategy, including building and maintaining client relationships and extensive understanding of clients' business.Full P&L, Budget and Forecast responsibility for the allocated area and ensure all activities support effective operations and financial performance e.g. debtors, commercial contracts.Operational responsibility across multiple KPI's to deliver the agreed business plan, including standardising and optimising business processes to drive efficiencies.Establish objectives, goals, metrics, programs, standards and targets/KPI's for the business within agreed guidelines.Use of data analytics and operational metrics to interrogate, measure and manage business and individual performance to optimise business productivity and enhance business results.Creating an environment where compliance with all internal and relevant external channel specific policies and procedures is the norm NDIS and TAC.Ensure all operations and activities are aligned with reference to internal policies and procedures, including record management.Maintain current working knowledge of relevant industrial awards and other regulatory requirements impacting Branch operations.Maintain appropriate human resources strategies to facilitate achievement of the business objectives, seeking input or support from PCW Team where appropriate.Overall management responsibility for employees within the region including oversight of the rosters to ensure effective utilisation of staff and limited overtime/penalty costs, management of Personal Leave, Annual Leave planning, CDP's, staff engagement, staff professional and personal development etc.About you:Demonstrated leadership qualities including an ability to manage, motivate and develop a diverse team at all levels.Experience in implementing and upholding safeguarding measures for client programs.Understanding of complex needs or willingness to undertake training.Proven operational experience of managing a Community business or similar.Demonstrable financial management experience – full P&L management, budgeting, forecasting including use of financial systems and procedures etc.Understanding of and compliance with the regulatory environment and best practice.Data driven with strong analytical, critical and lateral thinking abilities.Working knowledge of the Community/Disability/Aged Care sector or broader Health care industry (preferred).Demonstrated experience and passion for delivering excellent customer and client service.Continuous improvement mindset with evidence of having developed and improved processes.Demonstrated strong computer and technology literacy, including experience in working with Microsoft Office 365 and government portals.Licence and Screening Requirements:Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.Employment Working with Children's Check.International Police Check (if applicable).Current vehicle and valid VIC driver's licence.We encourage people who are registered or willing to register through the Disability Workers Commission Register www.vdwc.vic.gov.au.About Ability PlusAbility Plus Disability Services is a progressive company with a mission to ensure that every participant has access to quality services that maximise their independence, choice, and wellbeing.
