Description
As the Rockhampton Branch Manager , you will lead an established, fast paced and passionate team focused on driving operational excellence and delivering key projects. You will focus on both developing new business whilst enhancing current customer relationships to deliver on our next stage of growth. You will have the opportunity to have a real and meaningful impact on our business and how we are doing things, with a responsibility to contribute to our long-term success. Having a significant influence over our network and operation, this position would suit a dedicated, motivate and driven professional that demonstrates great leadership qualities. A genuine care for team members and supporting them to succeed is critical.
Your key responsibilities: Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and salesAssess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunitiesDevelop forecasts, financial goals and business plans in line with strategic company objectivesMeet goals and metrics in line with our Big 3 performance outcomes (people, customer, performance) Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately to minimize cost and increase revenueDevelop a positive team culture aligned with our People Strategy to through training, coaching, development and motivationIdentify areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needsAs a part of the Followmont family you will enjoy: Competitive remuneration with weekly pay. Training and development to help build your career and equip you for success.Supportive and inclusive team culture that empowers you to do your best workEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for professional and confidential counselling and support. Discounts for Private Health Insurance.  Qualifications What you'll bring to the role:  Experience in overseeing and coordinating the operational function within a Manufacturing, Transport, Warehousing or Storage environment is essential. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of operational staff in line with the branch P&L, budget and freight volumes is essential. Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to manage and oversee compliance and work health and safety in line with company policies and procedures, regulations, road laws, NHVR, and any other relevant legislative requirements. Ability to establish and maintain customer relationships in line with the Followmont brand, Values and Code of Conduct.  If you encompass the above attributes and feel this position is a good fit for you, the Followmont Team would love to hear from you!
