General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management)
Stowe Australia is seeking interest from a highly motivated, driven and experienced Branch Manager to head the Northern NSW region of our business. This critical leadership position provides coverage over the geographical span of Port Macquarie, Taree, Coffs Harbour, Lismore, and Tamworth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical practices, construction management and project management. The Branch Manager role forms an integral part of the Stowe NSW Leadership team and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Northern division business, including but not limited to revenue, operations, staff development, customer relations, and strategic planning for our future direction. As one of the first Stowe Branches, this region has delivered and sustained profitability and growth over a long period of time and we see our next Leader of this region taking this success to the next level.
Your Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets in the Northern Region. Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, development and accountability. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners in the region. Ensure operational excellence and efficiency in all aspects of our Northern division operations. Monitor industry trends, markets, local activity, and competition to identify opportunities and threats. Collaborate with other department heads to align Northern division operations with company-wide goals.  Monitor and evaluate the Branches position in the marketplace against those of its competitors. Ensure that all personnel recruited to the Branch display attributes compatible with the company's long-term needs and that they are fully aware of the company's policies affecting their areas of work. Keep up to date with industrial relations and OHS&R matters affecting the employees of the Branch.  Ensure the management and staff are well equipped to carry out their functions through access to contemporary management techniques and functions. Ensure that tender quotations and other pricing is effective. Constantly monitor and analyse work results and ensure that feedback is given to relevant personnel Report regularly to the General Manager. Ensure compliance at all times with company policies, procedures, plans, guidelines & Employment Information Brochure including Occupational Health & Safety, Rehabilitation / Return to Work, Quality & Environmental requirements are adhered to Qualifications: Proven experience in a senior leadership role Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve outstanding results. In-depth knowledge of the Northern division markets, competitors, and business landscape. Financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively. What we offer....
