The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Mackay operations. As the Branch Manager, you will oversee manufacturing, warehousing, and a skilled team of service technicians. This is a key leadership role requiring a blend of operational expertise, business development skills, and people management.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficiency in manufacturing and warehousing activities.Drive sales growth by cultivating strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to clients across multiple industries.Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve branch targets, including sales, service delivery, and operational performance.Oversee staff scheduling, resource management, and team development to meet operational and customer needs.Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across all branch activities.Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager to align branch goals with broader business objectives.Manage branch financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting.The successful applicant will have: Proven experience in branch or operations management within an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution setting.Strong leadership skills with a history of successfully managing diverse teams, driving performance, and fostering a positive work culture.Demonstrated success in sales and business development, with the ability to build strong client relationships and secure new business.Mechanical or technical understanding relevant to the industrial sector.Proficiency with ERP/manufacturing/warehousing systems and strong computer skills (Outlook, Office suite).Ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels, from shop floor teams to senior decision-makers.Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role within the industrial sector.The Benefits: Fully maintained company car & fuel card.Laptop & mobile phone provided.Onsite parking.Generous Performance Bonuses.This is not just a job, it is an opportunity to join a company with a century-long legacy, work in a dynamic industry, and contribute to the success of clients across various sectors.
