Cotton Grower Services was established in 1979 to service the specialist crop protection and stewardship needs of Australian cotton and grain growers. CGS continues to grow its presence providing specialty agricultural products and services to farmers with over 60 staff. Their branch network is strategically located to service the ever-changing needs of their customers.
The Role:CGS now seek a Branch Manager for their Emerald branch which services clients in the Central Highlands who produce cotton, cereals, pulses & horticultural crops. CGS's clients are typically a mix of family and corporate enterprises who share common goals and values including a strong commitment to the local community.
As Branch Manager you will have a strong influence on the local direction of the company, servicing the needs of the farming community and the CGS customer base. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be accountable for leading and managing a dedicated team and have full bottom-line responsibility for the branch. You will develop strong business relationships with key supply partners, purchasing approved stock and capital items, and implementing customer servicing strategies along with local marketing and sales campaigns.
The Person:We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following skills and attributes:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in an agricultural industryBusiness management experience, with responsibility for people and financial managementFormal agricultural or business qualificationsStrong empathy with customers and local regional communitiesProven negotiation skills with customers, suppliers and ag industry influencersManagement, financial and agronomic literacyExperience with contemporary business IT softwareThe Company:Cotton Grower Services was established in 1979 to service the specialist crop protection and stewardship needs of Australian cotton and grain growers.
