About the role This branch is seen as a model of excellence amongst the organisation. A pivotal position will see you leading several direct reports while being responsible for the commercial, operational and overall efficiency of the Toowoomba branch. Your duties will be…
• Provide leadership and adherence to WH&S, quality and environmental areas
• Ensure hire operations are efficient and outcomes are monitored
• Actively contribute to business performance through relationship building and pursuit of opportunities
• Review financial performance to allow informed decision making
• Monitor state of equipment and make recommendations on plant purchases
• Ensure the branch is suitability staffed – coaching and mentoring
• Oversee branch administration and supply agreements
Skills & experience We seek a commercially focused and confident professional with heavy equipment and plant hire / rental or mine site experience. Ideally you would have built your career from a relevant trade background, you will have led and developed teams while managing strategic corporate accounts. With financial responsibility and reporting, you will posses a high level of computer skills, knowledge of WH&S and the environmental management and implications of earthmoving equipment.
