Your Role As a Senior Leader within Community Care, you will be required to oversee the day to day operations of all Programs and Services delivered from Gladstone Community Care Branch.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring delivery of contracted outputs for funded programs such as the Commonwealth Home Support Program and Queensland Community Support Scheme, as well as driving growth in Home Care Packages and NDIS, whilst ensuring the sustainable financial management and compliance of these and other services.
Your tasks will include: Provide exceptional leadership to the team Promote a culture of service delivery excellence that aims to improve the wellbeing and lifestyle of our clients Maintain a financially sustainable business Deliver innovative care and service Forward business planning and input to strategic directions Maintain and undertake local compliance activities including continuous improvement and audits Your Attributes We're looking for a person who has what it takes to make a difference in our clients' lives.
You have:   Proven leadership and people management Financial, operational and organisational experience Strong Communication Ability to develop and achieve business growth Sound judgement and decision making capacity Time management Demonstrated history of contributing to a positive team culture How You'll Benefit You'll become part of the Ozcare team, and in addition to the training and support that you would expect, you will also receive: 5 weeks annual leave as standard Annual leave loading Monthly day off for full time staff Optional salary packaging, meal entertainment cards, and novated leases Private health insurance discounts Uniform and laundry allowance Role Requirements Demonstrated extensive management experience in a community service health organisation Formal relevant post graduate qualifications in management desirable Demonstrated high level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated financial management skills and proven track record in achieving agreed targets Experience with a broad range of stakeholders including clients and their families, employees, senior management and external health and services organisations or government bodies.
Under relevant legislation and the policies and procedures of Ozcare, provide and maintain a current National or Queensland Police Certificate prior to commencement Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check) A current Queensland Drivers Licence Qualify as Key Personnel Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough) Welcoming All We welcome everyone to become part of the Ozcare family regardless of belief, ethnic or social background, health and gender.
