Exciting Opportunity for an experienced Branch Manager / Business Development Manager – Penrith, NSW
OUR CLIENT Our client is one of the largest independent family-owned Electrical Wholesalers in Australia, with over 94 years of industry experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a dynamic Branch Business Development Manager to oversee the growth and development of the Penrith Branch.
This role is key to driving business expansion, improving profitability, and identifying new market opportunities.
You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to manage and grow business relationships, develop sales strategies, and ensure the branch meets its financial and operational targets.
LOCATION Penrith, New South Wales
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drive business growth through strategic planning, including forecasting, financial objectives, and business plansManage sales activities across existing and new customers, ensuring revenue targets are metDevelop and nurture long-term relationships with key customers and suppliersOversee branch operations, including inventory control and project managementLead, mentor, and train the branch team to enhance performance and customer satisfactionCollaborate with the team to prepare quotes, tenders, and sales activitiesRegularly analyse sales data and customer results using CRM systems to optimise business strategiesSet branch pricing and direct quotation activities to ensure competitive positioningStay informed of local market trends, competition, and industry developmentsEnsure compliance with all Health, Safety, Policies and ProceduresPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Strong leadership and management skills with a focus on business developmentExcellent communication and negotiation skillsHighly organised with a keen attention to detailAbility to prioritize tasks and delegate effectivelyConflict management and problem-solving skillsSupportive and motivating leaderMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS A minimum of five years' experience in business development or branch management within the Electrical Wholesale industryValid driver's licenseYear 12 or equivalentBENEFITS Attractive salaryCompany vehicle provided + fuel cardOngoing training and development opportunitiesUncapped bonus structureA fun and supportive work environmentIf you're seeking a long-term, stable opportunity that offers growth, a competitive salary, and professional development, APPLY NOW!
