The Branch Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative, business and financial support to the branch through close cooperation with the Chief People Officer and Leadership Team.
The Branch Coordinator will ensure effective delivery of each of the branch's critical strategic and business priorities as required through business planning, branch budgeting, branch risk management and other key organisational requirements and projects. The position plays a critical role within the branch with a high-level customer interface with key internal stakeholders across the organisation including staff members and operational functions across the People Culture and Leadership Branch.
The Branch Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that organisational and operational delivery requirements are met in a timely manner and will coordinate business support resources, actively contribute to business processes, projects and communication as well as coordinate Branch policy reviews. By integrating closely with the branch, the Branch Coordinator will consistently improve processes, communications and administrative business practices.
What you will bring (Selection Criteria): Tertiary qualification in a field such as project management, business administration or human resources, or relevant business experience.Strong skills and demonstrated experience with business support and operational delivery in a local government or equivalent setting, with experience in human resources highly regarded.Advanced business and administrative management skills, including the ability to plan, monitor and assess operational risks and issues and the ability to manage multiple activities from conception and briefing to delivery;Highly developed organisational skills, including a close attention to detail and the ability to act with initiative to design solutions to manage branch priorities;Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills;Experience in administration and business support and advanced computer literacy with all relevant programs and knowledge of general office systems including knowledge sharing and database management;Experience in providing project support with a level of project management experience preferable;Relevant experience in areas of budgeting, financial analysis and financial reporting.How to apply… As part of the online application process, you are required to respond with a covering letter outlining your skills and experience relevant to the key selection criteria (no longer than two pages) and attach your resume.
