About the role: As an experienced Global Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead the design, development, implementation, and execution of our Quality Management System (QMS). You will set high standards and procedures across the business and manufacturing locations, continuously improving Bradken's systems and processes in line with strategic priorities and commercial growth objectives.
As a product quality expert in a heavy engineering/manufacturing environment, you will advise on QA and NDT procedures, methods, and standards to match customer specifications and quality requirements. You will uphold and build on Bradken's culture of Customer-Centricity through targeted training, coaching, and mentoring of QA principles, standards, methods, behaviours, and tools.
You will influence continuous improvement within operations, lead and oversee quality audits, and address deficiencies with prompt corrective actions to ensure superior Customer Satisfaction.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be a key senior leader for the Quality department , leading a team of QA Product line leads and Documentation Control Specialists. You will set performance objectives within global QA strategy & goals and measure outputs to ensure delivery.

In this role you will: Promote a proactive safety and sustainability culture, conduct safety interactions, and ensure risk management processes. Establish QA policies, procedures, and standards, develop the annual QA program budget, and maintain accountability. Lead quality audits, maintain QA-related certifications, and manage the Customer Feedback Reports (CFR) system. You will have: Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field. Six Sigma and/or professional certification as an internal auditor for ISO standards is desirable. Significant experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering in a heavy engineering or manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage QMS based on best practices, including compliance monitoring, quality specifications, and standards. Hands-on experience with QA policies, procedures, standards, and leading quality audits, including maintaining QA-related certifications and managing Customer Feedback Reports (CFR).
