CareFlight has today announced a key change in its leadership with long-serving Chair, The Hon Dr Andrew Refshauge, to be succeeded by former NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard.
Mr Hazzard has been appointed as a Director of CareFlight and joins the Board in the role of Deputy Chair. Following a period of transition, Mr Hazzard will step into the role of Chair in 2024
Mr Hazzard commented that it was a privilege to be appointed Deputy Chair (and Chair designate) of CareFlight.
"With the support of the Board, CEO and management team I am wholeheartedly committed to seeing CareFlight build on the strong progress achieved over the past 16 years under Andrew's leadership," Mr Hazzard said.
"I am looking forward to helping lead this dynamic and vital organisation through its next phase and continuing to improve and deliver the best possible outcomes for the patients and communities we serve", he said.
