We commission, produce and present major performances within our annual curated Seymour Season, with a focus on showcasing leading Australian independent theatre companies.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Box Office Manager to make a pro-active and positive contribution to the culture and goals of the Seymour Centre's Box Office, while leading and motivating a team ensuring a positive experience for patrons and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities involve the day-to-day operation of the Box Office and leadership of a team of full-time and casual staff. This role will oversee customer service and ticket sales, while working closely with the marketing and front of house teams.
Your key responsibilities will be to: oversee the Seymour Centre's Box Office operation and provide high-level customer service lead and manage a team of diverse full-time and casual staff, to ensure a high performing team, ensuring staffing levels are correct build and promote positive relationships, while ensuring optimum levels of sales and customer service are maintained liaise with external producers and external ticketing providers regarding ticketing requests and requirements manage the recruitment, induction and training of Box Office staff. About you experience in a similar role using ticketing software (preferably ENTA) experience in leading, motivating and rostering a diverse team of staff knowledge of Box Office procedures, including reconciliation of daily sales demonstrated commitment to high-level customer service and making patrons, staff and key contacts and their needs a priority demonstrated experience in building effective working relationships with key stakeholders ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required.
