About the role
Box Hill High School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to play a key role in the strategic and operational management of the school. As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently administrating the school's financial, human resource, and facilities management functions. This is a full-time position based in Box Hill VIC 3128.
What you'll be doing Oversee the school's financial management, including budgeting and reporting. Collaborate with the leadership team to align strategic and operational goals. Manage resources and coordinate the maintenance of school facilities under the Principal's guidance. Negotiate with service providers on cost and quality. Implement effective systems and policies for school operations. Provide expert advice on administrative and financial matters. What we're looking for Tertiary qualification in business, finance, or a related field Substantial experience in a senior administrative or management role, preferably in an educational or public sector setting Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting Experience in facilities and infrastructure management, including maintenance and development planning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple competing priorities Commitment to the values and mission of the school and the education sector What we offer
