Thiess is currently seeking Experienced Haul Truck, Multiskilled and Excavator Operators to join our exciting projects based near Moranbah QLD. We currently have opportunities available at the following sites:
PEAK DOWNS Flights provided from Brisbane to Moranbah by Thiess Thursday to Wednesday shifts BIBO provided by Thiess from Mackay and Townsville Full camp facilities and meals provided - Camp is based at Civeo camp in Moranbah, enjoyable lifestyle with access to local cafes, restaurants, gyms, and other facilities. CAVAL RIDGE Contract extended to 2027 Flights provided from Brisbane to Moranbah by Thiess Wednesday to Thursday shift Non-Smoking site BIBO provided by Thiess from Mackay and Townsville Full camp facilities and meals provided - camp based at the Buffel Park Village - 5 minutes from site. Offering accommodation, meals, wet mess and 2 gym facilities. About the Role Working an even time roster of 7 days on 7 days off day/night, roster 12.5hr days. Duties will include but will not be limited to:
Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output. Complying with Thiess' policies and procedures. Operate, drive, and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads. About You Experience operating Haul Trucks, Dozer, Grader, Loader, or Excavator in a mining environment. You must have - verified machinery skills list (training transcripts), signed by SSE.
