Bourke AboriginalCorporationHealth Service (BACHS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service providing primary health care services to the local community.
We aim to deliver holistic, comprehensive, and culturally appropriate health care to the community.
BACHS provides a variety of programs under a Primary Health Care model and also offers Visiting Specialist Services.
We have a passionate team working hard to meet the health needs of the Community and are now seeking a to bring on board a Senior Administration Officer who will be a key member of the administration team.
The role In this role you will provide professional high level customer service, practice support and administrative services to the organisation, as well as organising Medicare claims processes for the business.
You will act as a point of contact for the organisation and be responsible for coordinating, planning and supporting day to day activities of the organisation.
Additionally you will support the capability uplift and development of administration officers within the organisation.
About you To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience
You will also need:
Current valid Driver's license, minimum of Class "C" or equivalent with a good driving recordAbility to build relationships with all levels of the organisation and the communityGood interpersonal skills, including the ability to demonstrated empathy when requiredDemonstrated ability to work independently and proactively manage workload.Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise tact, initiative and sound judgementDemonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demandsExtensive administration experience as well as experience working within a medical practice and Medicare claiming is desirableAbility to use computer programs and have a high level of computer literacyAbility to hold all relevant security clearances including National PoliceSound computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suiteWe offer an excellent range of benefits including:
