The Opportunity?   We are seeking a passionate finance professional to join our growing Marketplace Quality team.
Our Marketplace Quality teams mission is to uphold the highest standards of service delivery and accuracy within our marketplace, ensuring our internal control processes are met and our customers receive a 10x experience.
This role is unique compared to traditional financial control positions.
As a Financial Control Lead at Visory, you will oversee the accurate completion of financial back-office workflows performed by Visory Experts (third-party contractors).
Your primary objective is to ensure an extremely low error rate in the services delivered to customers within the Marketplace.
Leveraging the Visory platform and its tools, you will be responsible for maintaining quality at scale.
You will utilise your extensive technical knowledge to identify and remediate risks, maintain up-to-date process documentation, and provide recommendations for improvement.
We are looking for someone eager to break the mold, leveraging their expertise in accounting, bookkeeping or financial control to help build and manage quality control frameworks across a growing marketplace of SMEs and bookkeepers.
On an average day, you can expect to:   Complete quality control checks across a range of customer files  Ensure we achieve an extremely low error rate in our delivery of workflows to customers  Identify and address risks and control deficiencies promptly.
Provide feedback and recommendations for enhancing internal controls and processes, as well as platform features.
Support product and process improvements to enhance service delivery.
We're looking for someone who has:   Has a strong background in accounting, bookkeeping or financial control.
Can work with a wide range of internal teams to improve financial processes and controls.
Has experience in maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
Possesses excellent communication and documentation skills.
Is a systems-thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
