Bookkeeping Manager

A great opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeping Manager to join a leading mid-tier accountancy firm in Canberra.About the role:

Mentor and support the Bookkeeping teamOversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and tax filings.Identify and resolve discrepancies and issues in financial records.Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.About you:

Bookkeeping qualificationCA or CPA (desirable but not essential)Experience managing a team of bookkeepersStrong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.Perks of the role:
