What you'll do:
As Bookkeeper, you will play an integral role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include meticulous account reconciliations, managing payroll, conducting bank reconciliations, preparing insightful reports, overseeing stock control in liaison with the warehouse, accurate job cost allocations, preparing board reporting documents and handling administrative ad hoc tasks. Your commitment to accuracy and efficiency will contribute significantly to our ongoing success.
Perform account reconciliations meticulously and accuratelyManage payroll duties ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on timeConduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure financial accuracyPrepare reports providing valuable insights into the company's financial statusOversee stock control liaising with warehouse administrator effectivelyAllocate job costs accurately to maintain budgetary controlPrepare board reporting documents presenting clear and concise financial dataHandle administrative ad hoc tasks efficiently and effectively
What you bring:
The ideal candidate this role will bring a wealth of experience from similar roles, demonstrating proficiency in MYOB software and showcasing their ability to work proactively within a team. Experience in bookkeeping is required, along with a friendly and flexible approach to work. Experience within the Construction/Retail/Wholesale industry and possession of an accounting/bookkeeping certification would be highly advantageous.
