Looking to join a dynamic business in a recession proof industry?Hire A Loo is a portable toilet hire company with a passion for supplying quality products, great service, and getting the Job Done!Loogistics is the sister company to Hire A Loo which provides servicing for hire companies including Hire A Loo, and other large portable toilet suppliers in our region.We are a dynamic business, looking to add to our team.The RoleBased in our Coolum Beach office, you will help us to maintain accurate accounts, simplify and automate our finance operations, and enhance the owners' insights and understanding of the performance of the various companies that make up the business.Hours: 17-18 hours a week, with rostering suitable for you and the business.Ensuring GST tax codes are applied.Tidying up customer double ups.Perform routine pricing reviews (mark to market) for assets, parts, and consumables.Working with inter-entity offset accounts.Payroll:All aspects of payroll including staff set up, Superannuation, leave and award rates.Preparing pay run details for director approval and payment.Accounts Receivable:Receiving credit card payments via ANZ eGate.Minimising overdue accounts by calling and emailing customers.Suspending repeatedly overdue accounts and liaising with Operations in relation to these customers.Reconciling customer payments.Accounts Payable:Inputting invoices and receipts and applying planned to pay dates.Preparing payments through direct debits, credit card payments, BPAY and ABA files.Applying credit notes as appropriate.Conduct End of Week completion and an EOM process to 'close off' the month.Skills & ExperienceMinimum 3 years experience in a similar role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and regulations.Knowledge of relevant legal and statutory regulations and compliance requirements.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Strong analytical and organisational skills.Exceptional attention to detail.Qualifications in business or accounting viewed favourably.Why Work With Us?Joining our team means more than just filling a role – it's about becoming part of a company where you can grow and make a significant impact.
