Bookkeeper

Located on St Georges Terrace in the Perth CBD, we are a collaborative team providing compliance, financial accounting and bookkeeping services to our extensive client base, including listed and unlisted entities in the resource sector.  
 
The role offers the opportunity to grow and develop your own skill set and manage your own portfolio of clients. 
Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.Prepare and submit payroll on a regular schedule.Prepare tax filings and other regulatory documents as required.Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.Assist with preparation of interim and annual financial reports and liaising with external auditors.Requirements: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.Proficiency with Xero or MYOB bookkeeping software.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team. A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred, but not required. In return: Competitive salary and benefits package.Flexible working hours with remote options.A supportive and dynamic team environment.Opportunities for growth and professional development.
