About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and supporting the management team with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivablePreparing and processing payroll, invoices, receipts and other financial documentsReconciling bank and credit card statementsGenerating financial reports and statements as requiredLiaising with external accountants and auditorsProviding administrative support to the finance teamEnsuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulationsWhat we're looking for At least 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounts payable/receivable roleStrong numeracy and attention to detailProficient in using accounting software and MS Office suiteKnowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation requirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organisational and time management skillsMust possess all required licenses (RSA, RSG Modules)What we offer

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our venue, while delivering exceptional guest experiences every time.
