Bookkeeper

Our client is a leading advisory practice based in Melbourne's CBD.

The role:
As a bookkeeper, your responsibilities include:

Maintenance of electronic cashbooks using MYOB Preparation of STP reports Preparation of statutory reports and lodgment with AFSA & ASIC EFT payments including payroll Preparation of BAS and PAYG returns Liaising with banks Attend to ATO related matters (Maintenance of ATO platform, communication with ATO based on requirements) Contribution to policies around bookkeeping
As the ideal candidate you must have:
1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping in advisory practice (restructuring and insolvency preferable) Be an excellent communicator Great organizational skills & attention to detail Great interpersonal skills Experience in preparation of BAS; working in MYOB would be an added advantage.
