Opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper in the Hobart CBD full time or part-time Your new company Based in the Hobart CBD, this Bookkeeping firm provides professional accounting, taxation and advisory services to their clients. Providing specialist solutions across business and financial disciplines across multiple locations across Australia. Your new role Reporting to a senior manager, this is a permanent full-time or part-time opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper with excellent client service skills to join an established office. The primary responsibilities of the bookkeeper will include: Accounts Payables Accounts Receivable Daily banking, including the bank reconciliation Payroll data entry and processing Preparation of the monthly BAS Financial statements through to trial balance Provide system support to clients as required What you'll need to succeed You'll be a good all-rounder, have a strong client focus, have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and have previous recent experience in a similar function. You'll have excellent attention to detail, strong system skills across multiple financial software packages (including Xero, MYOB and Reckon) and be adaptable to an environment which requires a diverse range of skills. This role would be well suited to a candidate with multiple years experience with a strong understanding of Australian Tax, and experience with SMSF. Candidates need full working rights in Australia and be prepared to undergo a national police check prior to commencement.
