The Opportunity 
Our client is a public practice accounting firm based in the northern suburbs of Brisbane with an outstanding reputation. They are currently seeking an efficient and self-managed bookkeeper to join their firm to support the accountants. This role would suit an experienced bookkeeper with the ability to multi-task. You will be working closely with a team of accountants to provide a client focused service.

Duties and Responsibilities
This role will require you to provide a full function bookkeeping service and as such it is imperative that you have experience working in a public practice accounting firm. With a strong focus on client service you will regularly meet with your clients face to face. You must enjoy client contact and have the ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships. Your duties will include the following: 
Accounts payableAccounts receivableSingle touch payrollReconciliationsJournal preparationBAS preparation Preparation of accountsData entryYou will be required to train your clients on software regularly so it is imperative that you have had experience doing this. 

Requisite Skills & Experience

Previous experience within a similar role is necessary (minimum 3 years), and you must be competent using Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks. Excellent communications skills and presentation are essential.
Any relevant qualifications would be highly regarded.
