Bookkeeper and Accounts Administrator Eco Homes Group location Perth. $37 – $45 per hour.

About the role the role is a complete accounts administration and bookkeeping role, from scheduling payments and recording expenses through to payroll and financial reporting. The role is permanent part-time, based in-office in Welshpool. Flexible hours available, to be discussed. Immediate start available. To be successful in this role you will have recent experience working in the Construction Industry and possess Bookkeeping and Accounts Admin skills.
Key responsibilties day to Day accounts administration including scheduling payments, making purchase orders and recording expenses. Use of Xero and Builder Trend softwares. Financial reporting (monthly & annually) including preparation of accounts receivable and payable, maintaining the general ledger, cash flow management, budget projection, reconciliation of accounts through to Profit and Loss reporting & liaising with Accountant. Preparation of Annual reporting & declaration of TPAR, Workers Compensation and other insurance declarations as applicable. BAS & IAS preparation and lodgement.
Single Touch Payroll, compliance to current state and federal legislated employment awards, Superannuation, employee record keeping and confidentiality. Preparation of some client documentation including preparation of contracts. Undertaking a variety of administrative tasks on an as-needs basis.
Candidate criteria bookkeeping - Certificate IV or above & minimum 5 years experience. Xero Software - Minimum 5 years experience. MYOB Software - We are currently migrating the data file to Xero so some MYOB experience is advantageous. Strong understanding and experience in Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of the Construction industry. Exceptional written and spoken English. Technologically skilled and good at learning new software. Strong attention to detail. Google Suite (Google Drive, Sheets etc).
